Saturday, September 19th, The Akron-Summit County Public Library hosted Akron’s Mini Maker Faire. Over 1300 people descended upon the Main Library to interact with The University of Akron’s robotics club, game developers, woodworkers, Akron Digital Media Center, NASA representatives, artists and more.
It was a lively event that ran from 12pm to 4pm. The Library’s mascot, Paws, mingled with children as adults and teens took interest in the more technical features. People were able to be themselves, teach others, and show off their interests in a fun, welcoming environment. Here are a few more photos from the event:
