A few weekends ago, I saw Copali at Uncorked Wine Bar. They’ve been on the blog at least once and I urge you all to check them out. I don’t have much more to say about it because they were phenomenal as always. As academically trained musicians, they have that special ability of working together even with substitute members (as was the case with this night). There is just something about a group that has been trained that makes things seem a lot smoother.
