Brews & Prose is a Cleveland literary event that started in 2012.  Every first Tuesday at 7pm in the Ohio City Room at the Market Garden Brewery, literature buffs, word enthusiasts, and people who just come for the beer gather to hear authors immerse us into their world. It features some of the best talent, both in and out-of-state.

I went with my friend Katie who co-runs Akron’s The Big Big Mess (literary reading series). The most recent event featured NEOMFA (Northeast Ohio Masters of Fine Arts) students Rebecca Ligon and Emily Troia.

It was a really cool experience and I got to try a new brewery. I’ll definitely do my best to make the next one.
