Aesthetically Pleasing

This photo represents a shift in my life, my work, and this blog. I feel that I lost some of what I loved about my blog in the quest to pump out content. If you’ve noticed, I’ve begun going to more art shows. This is just the beginning. I haven’t done much in showing my work although I produce a lot of thing and am always testing new medium.

I want this blog to be a place of inspiration. I do a lot of reviews and talking about my life outside of the art and that’s going to change. Reviews will still be there because I love going to movies, restaurants, and finding new music, but I don’t want that to be the overwhelming part of my blog. Having a place to vent and reveal what I’ve learned through my life experiences has been wonderful, but I’m venting too much. I need to hold back a bit so this blog can become what I’ve always wanted it to be.

I am a visual artist, so I want to promote as much visual art as possible. I also want to start incorporating other artists. I really need to get some interviews on here. I’ve also been getting to know more musicians in my area and I want to start promoting them as well. Music goes hand in hand with me. I can not create as well without it and I know some other visual artists are like that as well.

So, I have a couple of movie reviews to post, but after that you probably won’t see another one of those until The Hobbit. And I have a few web series to review, but I’m going to limit those to once a month at the most. Music will be a little more often, but I will start posting tons more of my art and local artists. I also want to involve my readers a lot more. I would love critiques of my art. I’m always open for suggestions.

Anyway, that’s all I had for this post. I want to thank you all for reading. Especially my consistent readers. I feel like I don’t say that enough.

Peace,
