Saturday, October 26th, I spent my night out in downtown Kent. Every year they have a massive Halloween get-together on the streets. People wander around, stand on the corners, and flow in and out of bars. It’s always such a cool experience albeit a little on the chilly side.

This year, as with most years, I hung out with my partner-in-crime/roommate/best friend, Jo. We went to a couple of bars and took loads of photos. Over the last few years I’ve been a vampire, a zombie, a gangster, and this year, Catwoman. A lot of people really liked my costume and Jo took a few great pictures of me (above). I made sure to bundle up because it gets cold and by the end of the night I was thankful for my foresight. Side note: My scarf is making me look extremely puffy in that jacket. I’d prefer that to freezing my tail off.

Here’s a couple highlights of the evening.

I saw The Comedian costume and I just about fell in love with it. I love Watchmen.  I also saw a black Quailman (think Doug) who was getting twerked on by a very drunk cheerleader at Brewhouse. I think I spent a good 20 minutes laughing at that.

I got a horrible tasting pretzel, but it sucked up the alcohol so I was pretty grateful for that. And the only reason I took a picture of this man (above) is because he was really attractive. I mean come on! Look at him!

And I think the Joker (above) was spot on. He licked his lips just like Heath Ledger does. His whole posture was exactly like the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Overall, the night was full of laughs, a bit of alcohol, and some seriously creative costumes. If you weren’t there, you should have been because it is always a pretty great time. Thanks for checking out my photos.
