Farmer’s Market: Hartville

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to visit a flea & farmer’s market in the area. It is one of the areas largest markets that is a host to all sorts of vendors. Armed with only my camera and my wallet, I ventured into the abyss known as Hartville. First off, I had forgotten how deep in the country this place is. I mean I drove over a massive lake, rode up and down hills, passed a herd of moo-cows (^_^) and endless fields of corn, and was almost distracted by the vineyard on the way. When I finally got there I was greeted by a sea of cars. During this time of year Hartville can look like the congested streets of New York.

But this is one of the best places to get some good street photography. Everyone is moving about in their own little world. Some people took an interest in my photo-documenting process and chatted me up. An older lady gave me a bit of information about the place and noted that she was a local. An older gentleman actually posed for a photo. I tried not to forget the reason I was there though. I had come to procure some vegetation. It was peak time for things like squash and gourds. I mean it is the harvest season for pete’s sake!

Not a whole lot of exciting things happened. I just got some really cool pictures out of it. Enjoy.

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any tips? Thank you!
